Draft: to be reviewed by counsel before launch. Not yet in force.

Accessibility

What we aim for on this site, what we check, and how to tell us when something does not work.

Status of this statement

This is a draft written for review by counsel. It is not yet in force and it is not a claim of conformance to any standard. It is published so you can see what we intend.

What we aim for

We want everyone to be able to read this site and send a demo request, whatever device or assistive technology they use. We build toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines at level AA as the yardstick, and we do not claim to have met it.

In practice that means every page works with a keyboard alone and images carry text alternatives. Text has enough contrast against its background, and the pages read in order with a screen reader.

What we check

Automated accessibility checks are being added to the site's tests to run on every page. Automated checks catch some problems and miss others, so they are a floor, not proof.

Known gaps

None are recorded yet. When we find one we cannot fix at once, it will be listed here with what we are doing about it.

Tell us what does not work

If a page or the demo form does not work for you, write to the address in the footer. Say which page, what you were trying to do and what assistive technology or browser you use. A person will read it and reply.

The product itself

This statement covers the website. The Harbeo product and its portals are held to the same aim. Questions about them go to the management company you deal with, or to us at the address in the footer.
