Draft: to be reviewed by counsel before launch. Not yet in force.

Terms of use

The terms for using this website. A plain-language draft.

Status of these terms

This is a draft written for review by counsel. It is not yet in force and nothing in it is a commitment or a contract until a final version replaces it. It is published so you can see what we intend.

These terms cover this website only. Use of the Harbeo product is governed by a separate agreement between the management company and Harbeo.

Who runs this site

This website is operated by Harbeo, Eau Claire, Wisconsin, the maker of Harbeo. The contact address is in the footer.

What this site is for

The site describes Harbeo and lets you ask for a demo. You may read it, link to it and quote short passages from it with attribution.

Please use the demo form only for demo requests. Do not try to overload or probe the site or the form, and do not scrape it in a way that burdens it.

What the site says about the product

We try to describe the product as it is. A feature marked available is built; a feature marked coming soon is not available and may change or be dropped. Screenshots show synthetic demo data, not real people or real money.

Nothing on this site is an offer. Prices read to be set until they are set, and a price is only agreed in a written agreement. Nothing on this site is legal, accounting or tax advice.

No promises about the site itself

What we promise about the site's availability, and the limits of our responsibility, will be settled with counsel. We may change or remove any page at any time.

Names and marks

The Harbeo name is ours to use; other names belong to their owners. Linking to this site does not need permission; implying that we endorse something does.

Law and disputes

Which law governs these terms and where a dispute would be heard will be settled with counsel before these terms take effect. This draft names neither on purpose.

Changes

This draft will change before it takes effect, and may change after. The version in force will carry the date it took effect. This draft carries none because it is not in force.
